Susanville Fire Department’s Fire Apparatus Engineer Andrew Jarret promotes to captain. Jarrett was promoted this Tuesday to the position following an extended recruitment as said by Chief Moore, who added Jarrett proved to be a successful candidate.
Captain Jarrett began his career as a volunteer firefighter for the department in 2010, becoming full-time by 2017. Jarrett continued to promote through to Fire Apparatus engineer, even earning a Fire Science Degree from Lassen community college.
Chief Moore expressed his extreme confidence that Jarrett will continue his level of commitment to the department in his new role.
