In light of fair week, Ssuanville’s city council moves its regular Wednesday meeting to Tuesday.
The council will consider approving several items, including awarding the Susanville Southeast Gateway Project to the lowest bidder and authorizing the City Manager to sign a $2.19 million contract once bonds and insurance are in place. The Director of Public Works will be allowed to start the project and handle any changes within the $2.5 million budget. The Finance Director will create a project budget using available funds. The council will also adopt the city’s Fiscal Year 2024/25 Budget and amend existing budget policies. Additionally, they will authorize the purchase of a new fire engine for about $930,000 and create a project budget for it.
For the complete agenda, you can visit the city’s website; the council meets on Tuesday, July 16th, at 5 pm in city hall.
