By this time next year, the Lassen County Board of Supervisors could be in their new quarters located inside the Historic Courthouse in Uptown.
Phase III floor plans were presented to the board that outlined where all tenant offices would be located. The first floor of the courthouse will house the elections office and clerk recorders offices as well as human resources, the second level will be home to the supervisors and county administrator. The basement level will house storage compartments along with mechanical rooms. An elevator has also been added for ADA accessibility.
Bidding on the project will come back to the board by December with awards being made in January. By March construction is expected to begin.
