The 2023 Fair Parade was a resounding success, as the top-performing participants have just been announced.
Lassen County Public Health and Lassen High Cheer secured the prestigious 1st place spot, while Standish 4-H and Rat Racing claimed the number 1 spot in the Junior Division. The parade, a highlight of Fair week, took place on Saturday, parading down Main Street from uptown to the fairgrounds.
Now that Fair time may have passed; the fair office is already bustling with preparations for the next year’s event. The search is on for the 2024 fair theme, and they’re calling for creative submissions through a theme contest. This year’s inspiration should be drawn from the fair’s “Remarkable” logo with a Wild West flair to add that special touch. You will have until September 8th to submit your theme ideas.
