Local law enforcement has teamed up to locate a Susanville woman missing since January. 49-year-old Christen Danae Pelletier was reported missing to the Susanville Police Department by her father on January 10th. Despite attempts to contact anyone she may have been staying with, no leads were found. The following day detectives listed her information on the national missing person’s site, resulting in numerous tips. However, none have led to her location.
Further investigation revealed that Chritsen had called 911 for assistance, but her cell phone disconnected before dispatch could get her location. Officers searched the area but later learned she was picked up by a passerby who offered her a ride on Hwy 139 near Merryville Road.
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office and California Highway Patrol have joined in the search efforts by contacting homeowners on Hagata Road and using a CHP Helicopter from Redding. The Susanville Police Department continues to ask for information on Christen’s whereabouts and possible sightings.
She is described as having blonde hair, green eyes, being 5’9 “, and weighing 140 lbs.
