Access to Shaffer Mountain will be restricted this week. Lassen Municipal Utility Crews will complete a power line project on the mountain. Crews will remove and replace an overhead power line with a buried line along the road shoulder that serves the communication site. Traveling from the junction with U. S. 395 to the mountain peak will be blocked during daylight hours from today through Friday, May 26.
