Lassen County Sheriff’s Office announces the graduation of seven from Lassen College’s Correctional Officer Academy.
At the community college’s Public Safety Training Center, the seven deputies underwent an intensive five-week, 195-hour program, learning the top skills necessary for the occupation from experts in the field.
The Core Course of the program is required to be taken within one year of being a full-time Adult Correctional Officer working within local jails.
The sheriff’s office continues to fill positions of Correctional Deputy and Technicians. Those interested can visit the county’s official website.
Congratulations to the grads, Kaitlyn Allen, Lane Bias, Sierah Mathers, Shaun White, Isaiah Fragoso, Gage Tibbetts, and Jasmine Leonard.
