The Seneca Healthcare District (SHD) Board of Directors has officially appointed Brady Haynes, the District’s current Chief Operating Officer (COO), as the successor to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Shawn McKenzie. Haynes will assume the role of CEO upon McKenzie’s departure at the end of this year, marking an important step in the District’s commitment to strong leadership continuity and the ongoing delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
This decision follows a deliberate and comprehensive succession planning process designed to ensure organizational stability, sustain operational excellence, and advance the District’s long-term strategic priorities in service of its patients, staff, and community.
