Today is a great day to get ready for a quick Saturday storm that will welcome in the first official day of Spring this Sunday. Temperatures will be dropping and if you plan travel today and early tomorrow will be that best window, especially if you plan to drive over the passes. Heavier snowfall may occur by mid afternoon tomorrow for areas above 5000 feet. Here in the valleys we can expect possibly light snowfall and wet roads. Winds will be picking up as well. Secure those trash cans and trampolines. Winds gust up to 40mph and upwards of 85 along the ridges. Those winds do stick around through Sunday yet slowing down to around 25 mph. But as you head back into early next week you can look forward to a nice warm up to the possible low 70s by mid week.
