The Sierra County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing this week in Loyalton to discuss increasing fees for fire mitigation. It is proposed that the fire development impact fee increase will be paid by new development/construction within the boundaries of the Sierra County Fire Protection District No. 1 for nearly 2 dollars per building square foot. You can share your input during the hearing or submit written or email comments to the county clerk-recorder. You can choose to attend the meeting in person or by teleconference.
The public hearing will be held Tuesday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the Loyalton Social Hall in Loyalton City Park.
