The Lassen National Forest officials say work is resuming at the Canyon Dam Boat launch. Crews are masticating in the vicinity, forcing the closure of 1.5 miles of the trail on the south end of the lake.
During operations, the northern parking lot will be closed as well.
You will continue to be able to use the boat launch; however, you are advised to be aware of extra vehicle traffic and heavy equipment. Access to the trail can be picked up at the Forest Service’s Dyer View or PG&E’s Rocky Point.
The project is expected to be completed by March 1st.
