Quincy, CA — In a significant move towards improving public access to court resources, the Plumas Superior Court has unveiled its new website at www.Plumas.Courts.CA.gov. This development aims to better serve the residents of Plumas County by providing a more streamlined and user-friendly digital experience.

Crystal Jones, the court’s executive administrative assistant, highlighted the need for this overhaul, noting that the previous website faced criticism for its outdated structure and navigation issues. The newly launched site addresses these concerns with a reorganized homepage, featuring quick links to essential services and a simplified menu structure. An added self-help center offers easier access to legal resources, further enhancing the site’s utility.

Key features of the revamped website include improved navigation with an intuitive layout, allowing users to find information more easily. Essential resources such as court calendars, forms, and self-help tools are now prominently displayed on the homepage for quick access. Additionally, the site offers tools to facilitate interactions with the court, including options for making payments, requesting case information, and accessing forms electronically.

The website is designed to be mobile-friendly and adheres to modern web accessibility standards, ensuring it is functional across all devices and accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Sue Selegean-Dostal, the court executive officer, emphasized the court’s commitment to serving the community, stating, “This new website is a significant step forward in our effort to provide accessible and efficient service to the residents of Plumas County. We hope the community will find this resource invaluable in navigating their legal needs.”

The court encourages residents to explore the new website and provide feedback through the “Was this helpful?” widget present on most pages. Feedback will be reviewed regularly to ensure the site continues to meet public needs.
