A winning theme for the 2023 Plumas Sierra County Fair has been announced from the over 80 submissions received during the contest. In the announcement, the fair board said it considered dozens of suggestions. Many aimed to capture the essence of Plumas and Sierra Counties, harking to the mountainous region and open skies, yet the winning theme encompassed a more Americana feel. The winning name came from regular fair exhibitor Lisa Tanner, with “Stars, Stripes and Summer Nights.”
The fair will be held at the Quincy Fairgrounds from July 27th to the 30th.
