Plumas County Invites Residents to Shape Future with Community Survey and Workshops

SHARE NOW

Plumas County is asking residents to share their views in a new community survey. Your input will help shape the county’s Strategic Plan.

The survey covers topics like public safety, roads, health services, and economic development. It asks how county government can better serve all communities. The survey takes about 12 to 15 minutes to complete.

You can access the survey online at plumascounty.us/3416/Community-Survey. The survey closes on May 8, 2026.

In addition to the survey, the county is hosting community workshops from May 4 to May 7. These workshops give you a chance to speak directly with county leaders.

Workshops are scheduled in each of the five districts:

District 3 in Chester meets May 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Almanor Recreation Center.

District 1 in Portola meets May 5 at 5 p.m. at Portola Memorial Hall.

District 4 in Quincy meets May 6 at noon at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds Mineral Building.

District 2 in Greenville meets May 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Greenville Elementary School.

District 5 in Blairsden meets May 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mohawk Community Resource Center.

A Zoom option is available May 7 at noon online at plumascounty.us/3415/Workshop.

All meetings are free and open to the public. No registration is needed for in-person sessions.

How would you prioritize the county’s services and projects? What changes would you like to see? This is your chance to influence local decisions. Share the survey link with your neighbors and join a workshop to make your voice heard.
