Get ready for some windy conditions today. Winds as high as 30 miles an hour locally and winds topping 80mph are expected in the ridge tops as the main storm system moves in this afternoon. Travel trailers use caution along 395, it is best to drive along that stretch of highway the first half of today, travel will be impacted starting this evening if you are headed out of the area. There is 2 to 4 inches of snow expected heading in to Saturday for our area and up to 8 inches over the passes. Plan on delays and slow downs throughout the region.
