PG&E is making over $200,000 available to Northern Califronia students through scholarships offered by its 11 employee resource groups (ERGs) and two engineering network groups (ENG) to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

These scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $6,000, are available annually to assist with higher education costs. Applicants can find criteria and applications on PG&E’s website, with a submission deadline of March 15, 2024.

Since 1989, these PGE groups have awarded over $6 million in scholarships through employee donations, fundraising events, and the Campaign for the Community initiative.

In addition to ERG and ENG scholarships, the Pacific Service Employees Association (PSEA) offers scholarships for dependents of PG&E coworkers, while PG&E Corporation provides STEM scholarships through its Better Together STEM scholarships program.
