The National weather service has issued a warning for the Dixie fire burn scar areas as a thunderstorm moves across the region again today. The storm can produce periods of heavy rainfall as has been seen with the latest storms causing debris flows and flash flooding. Lightning is also possible that could create new fire starts, and winds are expected to gust at 50 or more mph. If you plan to be outdoors be prepared and plan for quickly changing conditions. The weather service says to take note of vertically developing clouds and end your activities early, with a reminder that when thunder roars, get indoors.
