Starting this week, you have three days for public hours at the Susanville DMV.
Effective July 1st, the Susanville DMV office is one of 20 state offices with modified public hours. The DMV closely reviewed transaction volumes, staffing, wait times, and other criteria at its 170 offices state-wide to determine which offices could be modified for public hours. On weekdays, when the office is closed to the public, the DMV team members will process transactions started online that require additional processing or virtual customer service interaction.
A press release states that most transactions do not require an office visit and can be conveniently started or completed online at dmv.ca.gov/online. Additionally, the DMV website can provide exact hours of operation and holiday schedules.
