Multi-Vehicle Collision Shuts Down US395 Over Weekend

A multiple-vehicle collision over the weekend shut down US 395 for about 2 hours.

The California Highway Patrol responded around 8:30 on April 1st, reporting four vehicles were tangled up near county road A3. Family members of one of the cars involved said through a social post that their family member had hit a deer that crossed their path as they turned off the roadway. Reports indicated there was one individual trapped inside their vehicle. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The CHP had the highway reopened by 11 pm.
