Police departments and sheriff’s offices around the counties remind you that with lots of snow on the way, be ready for the snow plows or be towed. Within the city of Susanville, it is the law that when there are at least three inches of snow or ice on the roadways, your cars cannot be parked on the street, or they could be subject to towing at your own expense. Removing your vehicles and any other moveable object, including basketball hoops, ensures the roadways can be safe for travel and the plow drivers and prevents your property from being damaged by the plows.
