A Chico man was killed in a head-on collision while riding his motorcycle along Highway 32.
The 33-year-old unidentified male was driving just 4 miles from Tehama County this past Tuesday evening at an unknown speed when he entered a right-hand curve and lost control of the motorcycle. He and the bike began to slide across the double yellow lines into the opposite lane. At the same time, Dante Valerga(Val air ga) from Westwood was driving in the opposite lane and saw the motorcycle sliding in his direction. Dante tried to avoid the incident. However, the motorcycle crashed into the jeep, causing a head-on collision, fatality wounding the young motorcyclist. Valerga suffered from only minor injuries. The California Highway Patrol says there were no signs of alcohol or drugs suspected in the incident.
