More Shattered Windows at LRB Stop Shelter

Shattered glass was everywhere. Lassen Rural bus takes another hit to the bus shelters the company has built around town for their riders.

The final two glass panes at the Alexander and Riverside stop were destroyed sometime between Saturday and Sunday night. David Knaut, the owner of the bus line, says this is the second time this has happened at this location, while other stops have also had windows broken due to vandalism and weather.

Each pane costs around 600 dollars to replace, and David said they are now considering installing plexiglass or metal sides.

LRB’s General Manager says enough is enough and is raising the stakes to find the culprit by offering a 1000-dollar reward.
