More roadwork is slated to start next Monday to impact your travel this summer. Caltrans District 2 and Dig It construction will begin the Potato Patch Overlay Project along SR 32 in Tehama county at the Plumas County border. Work will begin at 28 east of Forest Ranch from 1 mile east of Deer Creek bridge to a half mile west of slate creek bridge. You will encounter one-way traffic control with up to 15-minute delays throughout the week during daytime hours. No weekend work is currently planned. This project is expected to wrap up in September.
District 2 will also begin the 21/22 Markers Job Project. to place recessed pavement markers along some of your local highways. Those locations include:
U.S. 395 in Lassen County: Between Termo Grasshopper Road and Ash Valley Road near Madeline.
State Route 139 in Modoc County: Between the junction with State Route 299 near Canby and Loveness Road.
State Route 44 in Shasta County: Between Brokeoff Meadows Road in Viola and Mineral Road.
State Route 44 in Shasta County: Between Bridge Creek Road to approximately 5 miles east of Old Station.
You can start to see Construction activities this Monday, July 25. And will see one-way traffic control with up to 15-minute delays, Monday through Friday during daytime hours. This project is also expected to be completed by mid-September.
