Gianluca Faia and Esther Kaminetzky of Alturas were arrested on Thursday in connection to a burglary in the Modoc Recreational Estates. They face charges of grand theft, conspiracy, vandalism, and evading police officers, as witness reports indicate a high-speed chase proceeded their arrest.
The burglary was reported to the SO on Wednesday April 17th, SO deputies after obtaining search warrants, recovered stolen firearms and tools.
The pair will be arraigned on their charges today in the Modoc Superior Court.
