Mid-week thunderstorms result in at least one fire on the Hat Creek RD in the Lassen National Forest.
Forest officials say the fire named The Coble Fire was a tenth of an acre, located on Hat Creek Rim near Coble Mountain. It has been fully contained and controlled.
Over 40 strikes were detected over the area as a cell passed over the region. No other lightning-caused fires have been reported from the storm.
