A man has been extradited from Illinois to Sierra County to stand trial for distributing child pornography.
Yesterday Sheriff’s Office Deputies traveled the 1900 miles to Eureka in Woodford County, Illinois, to retrieve 22-year-old Joshua Thomas Moore for accusations of sharing lewd images of minors for commercial distribution.
Moore is being held in county jail on bail set for 110,000 dollars. He faces a felony conviction punishable by a 2 to a 6-year state prison sentence.
The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office worked alongside the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office in Eureka, IL, on the investigation to apprehend Moore.
