Attorney Tammy Mallery, practicing out of Susanville, is facing disciplinary action from the state bar, which has filed a notice of 14 charges against her. According to documents issued on April 22, the charges include allegations of Mallery’s failure to act with reasonable competence and diligence, failure to respond to client inquiries, failure to refund unearned fees, and failure to cooperate in state bar investigations. The latter charge includes not responding to multiple State Bar letters regarding misconduct allegations.
Two of the cases cited in the allegations involve issues with living trusts.
The state bar court in San Francisco has scheduled a virtual initial status conference for June 3 at 9:30 a.m.
Tammy Mallery has been a licensed practicing attorney since 2002.
