The Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) Board of Directors took a significant step toward new leadership during their October meeting unanimously voting to authorize legal counsel to negotiate a contract with Nick Dominguez for the position of General Manager.
Once finalized, the contract will be brought back to the board for ratification. Upon approval, Dominguez will officially assume the role of General Manager.
Dominguez is set to succeed Robby Hamlin, who announced his resignation earlier this month, with plans to step down in December. Hamlin has served since January 2024 and led key initiatives focused on rate stabilization and improving LMUD’s financial metrics.
Further details regarding Dominguez’s appointment will be available following the board’s contract ratification in the coming weeks.
