The Lassen County Office of Education is urging students, parents, and staff to participate in the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS), now open through November 29. This confidential survey, aimed at students in Grade 3 and above, focuses on school safety, student well-being, and engagement.

Survey feedback from students, staff, and parents will help guide improvements in school climate, mental health support, and overall academic environment. Staff and parents are also invited to participate through the California School Staff Survey (CSSS) and California School Parent Survey (CSPS).

The survey is available online, and all responses are anonymous. For details, visit your school’s website or contact the school office.
