The Lassen County Supervisors are scheduled to convene today with a typical agenda.
One of the items on the agenda is to recognize the county Treasurer and Tax Collector Taya Short, for her 15 years of service. The board will also deliberate on whether to accept grant funding from the state to create web-based tools that would assist County Assessor Offices and the Public. The projects that would receive funding are those prioritized by the California Assessor’s Association. Additionally, there will be a discussion initiated by District 5 Supervisor Jason Ingram regarding deed restriction on two parcels owned by Honey Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars. These parcels are used to serve senior meals in the Herlong area.
The board will convene at 9 am in their Chambers located on Nevada Street in Susanville.
