Lassen Supervisors Hold Evening Meeting on Affordable Supportive Housing Proposal

Lassen County has committed to hosting an evening meeting to engage the community in discussions regarding the Affordable Supportive Housing Project, which has raised various concerns and questions. Chairman of the Lassen County Board of Supervisors, Gary Bridges, has confirmed that the meeting will take place to open discussions when more of the community can attend.

The County has stated that the current location under consideration for the project is on North Mesa Street, but other locations are still being considered. The community has raised concerns about the proposed site, and the evening meeting will allow more people to attend and share their concerns and thoughts on the project. Participants will have a 3-minute window during the meeting to share their comments.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 14th, at 5:30 PM, at Jensen Hall. For those who cannot attend the evening meeting, written comments may be submitted to the Supervisor’s Chambers on Nevada Street in Susanville.
