Susanville Salvation Army says mail carriers collected over 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food during this past Saturday’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The donations filled the delivery van to the brim. The Salvation Army says the collected food stays local and will be delivered to Crossroads ministries.
To date, across the nation, the 30-year-strong food drive has collected over 1.82 billion pounds of food.
