Lassen Rural Bus launches a new app to help you get a ride. With Octoberfest this weekend at the fairgrounds Lassen Rural Bus will extend their operating hours for the Pingo app to Friday as well as extend hours on Saturday. David with LRB says this was done to help the community to encourage those attending the event to not drink and drive.
With the launch of the new service the app offers several free rides with only a handful left, once used up a fare will cost an adult 3.50, and seniors and those with disabilities can ride at a discounted rate of 1.75.
During Octoberfest all children 18 and under will ride for free.
