Snowshoeing at Lassen Volcanic National Park you can now enjoy this sport here in The Lassen National Forest. The Almanor Ranger District is offering you a free guided snowshoe tour. This tour will include a two-hour basic survival skill and environmental educational class. These lessons are offered to the you free of charge with the gear included. Hikes can be strenuous depending on terrain and snow conditions. The first tour is expected to be February 2 and two more dates following on the 8 and 17th of February.
