Lassen Municipal Utility District Looks to Hire New General Manager with a Competitive Compensation Package

Lassen Municipal Utility District has found a General Manager.

This evening, the Board of Directors will consider hiring Robbie Hamlin, who signed an employment agreement on December 21st.

He is set to have an annual salary of 262,500 dollars. It is also worked into his contract to receive a 3% increase each year, but at Hamlin’s request for a salary review in conjunction with a performance evaluation, the board could allow him an additional 5 percent raise the following year.

Other benefits include a 25-day vacation, a company vehicle, and a cellphone allowance. He will also be reimbursed 25,000 dollars for moving expenses.

Hamlin will assume the role, if hired at today’s board meeting, February 1st, but will not report to LMUD until February 5th.
