Camping ordnance within the county of Lassen will be up for discussion during the planning commissions’ October 4th meeting. There will be a public hearing held with a recommendation from the commission to the Board of Supervisors. The proposal is to amend Title 18 by adding and repealing several changes. These include camping on private property outside designated campgrounds, including an administrative camping permit fee, and adopting a rezone ordinance for the Spaulding Eagle Lake Tract into the new combining district.

The commission meets at 1:10 at the Supervisor Chambers on Nevada street with a public hearing set for 1:15 on October 4th.
