Lassen’s board of supervisors are set to revisit the Homekey Project and make changes to vehicle towing laws during today’s meeting.
There will be a public hearing on an amendment to the county code concerning the towing of vehicles left on public roads for over 72 hours. CHP and the sheriff’s office have requested the change to clarify better when vehicles can be towed.
Further along the board’s agenda, in prior meetings, the CAO requested that there be a formal agreement between COLWest Investments and the county over the liability of the homekey project at Hospital Lane.
The Supervisors meet at 9 a.m. at 707 Nevada Street in Susanville. The county’s website has a complete agenda.
