One of the key items on this week’s agenda is the Auditor’s Office closing out the 2023/2024 fiscal year, with budget adjustments needed due to overspending or increased revenue. The total fiscal impact of these changes is $324,315.
The proposed adjustments affect several county departments, including:
- Predator Animal Control: Contract exceeded by $5,133.
- DA/PD Realignment: Increased revenue resulted in a $15,273 transfer to the District Attorney and Public Defender.
- Cemetery: Equipment purchases went over budget by $26,858.
- Jail Physician: Contract overshot the budget by $112,053.
- Sheriff Annex: Unbudgeted costs require an additional $80,189.
- Juvenile Justice Account: Increased realignment funds necessitate an $84,809 transfer to probation.
The Board will vote on approving these increases, which require a 4/5 vote for approval.
Clear Creek CSD will return this Tuesday with a new applicant for the CSD board following controversy over the existing applicants which the CSD board president deemed “toxic”.
The supervisors will also recognize staff for their service to the county.
The full agenda is on the county’s website. The Supervisors meet on October 22 at 9 a.m.
