Janesville Elementary will be re-opening today, January 19th. The school has been teetering returning students to classrooms following an uptick in COVID and Flu cases in the school leaving little staff to accommodate in-person learning. Yet this morning Students in quarantined classrooms can test negative and return to class. At home tests will not be counted; you must test through the office of education or at the school. If you choose to not test your child they may return to school this Friday. All students who were not under quarantine may return to class without testing. The school’s Principal Jacob George says they are excited to be back to in person learning and keeping everyone safe during these times.
