Indian Valley fire department is benefitting from two emergency vehicles donated by a fellow fire department. A Type 1 fire fighting vehicle and an ambulance medical rescue vehicle was donated by neighboring San Ramon Fire District. The vehicles are rather new and much need by the department that serves Greenville and its surrounding communities. The department lost its facility and fire engines last year to the Dixie Fire where the fire burned so hot the engines were completely destroyed while parked inside the building. The department has since built a new site for the department on hwy 89.
