Celebrate National Public Lands Day this weekend with a Hometown Pride Clean Up.
The Lassen Land and Trails Trust, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and Lassen County Chamber of Commerce invite you to participate in local cleanup and improvement projects in Susanville on Saturday, September 28.
From 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will work at the historic Susanville Railroad Depot, Main Street, and along the Bizz Johnson Trail. Organizers ask that you meet at 9 a.m. at the Susanville Railroad Depo to form project teams. Activities will include picking up litter and performing light maintenance tasks.
Lunch will be provided for those who register in advance by signing up online or contacting the Lassen Land and Trails Trust at 530-257-3252. The BLM will supply gloves, tools, and water.
