A Lookout man interrupted a burglary to an uninhabited residence that he owns on County Road 93. When the suspect realized he had been seen, he fled north on County Road 91. The homeowner began following the suspect who was ultimately intercepted by Modoc County Deputies on State Highway 139. Teddy Kie Khanchalern, 32 of Klamath Falls, was arrested for burglary, and vandalism for forcing entry into the residence. The homeowner later found that his uninhabited residence was rummaged through and several items were believed to have been taken. When Khanchalern was arrested he was found to be in possession of suspected stolen property that was believed to have come from the uninhabited residence. Khanchalern is in custody at the Modoc County Jail and his bail set at $55,000.
