The snow keeps coming, by tomorrow morning, you may be waking up to more white stuff covering the ground. Chris Smallcomb with the Reno National weather service says it’s lining up to be big one. Travel will be difficult starting Saturday morning; Friday will be your best shot at getting over the Sierra passes. Smallcomb says Susanville can expect up to a foot of snow with this weekend’s storm and up to 4 feet in the Lassen National Park.
As Seen with the latest heavy snow and freezing temperatures, roadways throughout the region can deteriorate quickly. The first wave of weather is expected to hit Thursday evening, with a couple of inches expected to fall. For next week Smallcomb says you can expect a break in the weather to enjoy the new snow on the slopes of the ski hills.
