After nearly two years since the Dixie Fire ripped through the town of Greenville and months of rebuilding, the town will finally see the return of its post office; you do not need to continue to create new forwarding addresses. The Dixie Fire Collaborative announced work on the site on Main Street is expected to begin when the grounds dry following months of rainfall saturating the grounds. The next step will be the construction of a foundation.
The Dixie Fire Collaborative meets monthly to discuss the recovery process and updates as the region rebuilds from wildfire.
