The Modoc Sheriff’s Office says the manhunt has ended in the search for the second fugitive in a string of burglaries out of Alturas.

In January, Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle in Cedarville that had been taken from Alturas, which later lead investigations to a site across the Nevada border stashed with thousands of dollars worth of stolen property. Ricardo Quezada and Bryce Lemonds were identified as the suspects who were on the run. Lemonds was picked up in Texas just several weeks later, but Quezada was able to elude authorities until now.

The sheriff’s office says he was located and arrested in Sonoma County.
