A driver falls asleep and causes a rollover on highway 70 that resulted in a hazmat clean-up. Both lanes of the highway near spring Garden East of Quincy were blocked for a few hours as crews worked to remove the near 40 gallons of fuel that leaked from the trucks auxiliary fuel tank. Nicholas Gibbons of Shingle Springs was driving the utility bed pickup west on hwy 70 yesterday in the early morning hours on cruise control when he fell asleep. The CHP report states the truck drifted off the roadway, rolled over, and stopped blocking both lanes. Gibbons was wearing his seatbelt and had only minor injuries.
