Statewide flex alerts are possible throughout the Labor Day weekend as a heat advisory is in place through Tuesday of next week. The Plumas County Sheriff’s office has issued a statement that they have also been alerted to possible PG&E rolling blackouts. Though they say they will keep you informed of any new information as it becomes available. During flex alerts, you are asked to set thermostats to 78 degrees and avoid using major appliances.
