Caltrans will be working the Interstate 5 area starting at 10 am Thursday.
A traffic split will be near the Mott Road exit, with the middle lane closed. Caltrans is asking for drivers to stay in the right lane if planning to exit the Mott Road exit 734., State Route 89, or South Mount Shasta.
Do follow the provided signage and to maintain a 55 mph speed limit. Do also allow extra traveling time. The ramp is expected to be closed from June 26th through August. A designated detour route will be available to travelers.
Northbound State Route 89 on and off ramps along with Mt. Shasta off ramp will be temporarily closed.
