Drunk Driver Traveling with his Dog Takes a Wrong Turn

On Wednesday, May 24th at 12 a.m. Quincy Resident Russel Jennings, age 68, was driving under the influence of alcohol and traveling at excessive speeds when approaching the railroad tracks in Quincy, Jennings missed the left turn, and the Dodge truck hit an embankment and traveled to the other side of the road causing Jennings to strike another embankment and then rolling the vehicle over. Forest Service personnel saw smoke from the vehicle, stopped, and found Jennings and his dog uninjured.

The Forest Service personnel called the accident into dispatch, where Officer Mcalister responded to the scene and placed Jennings under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.
