A statewide system outage at the CA Department of Motor Vehicles knocked out driver’s license processing on Monday.
According to a statement from the DMV, services are being limited.
The outage continued into the evening, but it has not been disclosed if interruptions have been resolved; a spokesperson told the San Francisco Chronicle that the DMV was working with its partners to address the issue.
Other services, such as registrations and renewals, are available.
